Frequently asked questions

Wondering if this would work for your business?

Fair question. Below are the things small business owners ask me most: what it costs, how long it takes, and what happens if you're not a tech person. If yours isn't here, just ask. The first conversation is free.

How much does this cost?

Projects start at $500, and a complete website starts at $2,000. Every project is quoted flat before we begin, so you know the full cost up front. There's no hourly billing and no surprise invoices.

What actually happens in the free consult?

We spend about thirty minutes talking about your business: what's eating your time, what keeps falling through the cracks, and what you wish just worked. Then I tell you honestly what's worth fixing and what it would cost. No obligation, and if I don't think a project makes sense for you, I'll say so.

I'm not a tech person. Is that a problem?

Not at all; that's exactly who this is for. You explain your business in your own words, and I handle the technical side. Everything gets set up with clear, simple documentation, so you're never dependent on me to understand your own systems.

What if I don't know what I need?

That's the normal starting point, honestly. Most owners just know something is eating too much of their week. Bring that to the consult and we'll figure out together where the quickest wins are.

Do you work with the software I already use?

Almost certainly. I regularly connect the tools small businesses run on: QuickBooks, Square, Toast, Google Workspace, Shopify, and dozens more. If your software can export a file or has any way to connect, I can usually work with it. And I work with what you have; the goal is never to sell you new software.

How long does a project take?

Most projects are done in days or weeks, not months. You'll get a timeline with your quote, and you'll see progress along the way rather than waiting for a big reveal.

Will an AI assistant say something wrong to my customers?

That's the right question to ask. Every assistant I set up runs with clear guardrails: it only says what you've approved, it answers from your real prices, hours, and policies, and it hands the conversation to you the moment it needs a human.

What happens after the project is done?

I stick around to make sure everything keeps working. You'll have documentation for whatever I build, and if something needs attention down the road, you know exactly who to call.

Do you only work with businesses in Southern Oregon?

I'm based in Southern Oregon and love working with local businesses, including in person. But everything I build works just as well remotely, and I work with small businesses anywhere in the United States.
