Privacy Policy

The short version

This website sets no cookies and does not track you across the internet. If you fill in the contact form, the answers become an email to me and nothing else. That is close to the whole story, but the details are below in case you want them.

What you send me on purpose

The contact form asks for your name and email address, and optionally your phone number, your business name, and which services you are curious about. There is a box for your message.

When you submit it, that becomes an email to hello@sebastianinman.com. It is not saved to a database, because there isn't one. It sits in my inbox like any other email, and I use it to reply to you and to keep track of our conversation if we end up working together.

The form has one hidden field that real visitors never see. If it gets filled in, the submission is treated as spam. That is the only thing on this site that could be called a trick, and it exists to keep robots out.

What gets counted automatically

I use Vercel Web Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. It does not use cookies, does not follow you to other websites, and does not build a profile of you. What I see is counts: how many visitors, which pages, which country, roughly what kind of device. I cannot tell who you are from it, and I would not want to.

Vercel Speed Insights measures how quickly pages load, for the same reason a shop owner notices a slow door.

Cookies

This site sets none. No banner, no preferences to manage, nothing to accept or reject. If your browser has cookies from a booking window you opened, those belong to Cal.com, described below.

The other companies involved

Running a website means a few other companies necessarily touch it:

• Vercel hosts the site and keeps ordinary server logs, which include visitors' IP addresses, in the normal way any web server does.
• Resend delivers contact form submissions to my inbox.
• Cal.com runs the booking calendar. Its script loads on every page so the "Book a free consult" button can open the calendar without sending you elsewhere. If you actually book a time, what you enter goes to Cal.com and is covered by their privacy policy as well as this one.

That's the full list. There are no advertising networks, no social media pixels, no data brokers, and nothing that follows you after you leave. I do not sell your information, and there is no arrangement under which I could.

How long anything is kept

Emails from the contact form stay in my inbox until I clear them out, the same as any correspondence. Analytics are counts rather than records about you, and my plan only keeps a rolling window of them. If we work together, your project records are kept on my own computer and are not part of this website.

What you can ask me to do

Email me at hello@sebastianinman.com and ask what I have about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. You do not need a reason and there is no form to fill in. I will do it and tell you when it's done.

If you would rather not be counted in analytics at all, blocking scripts in your browser or using a content blocker will stop it, and nothing on the site breaks when you do.

Children

This site is for people running businesses. It is not directed at children and I do not knowingly collect anything from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date below changes with it. There is no version history to dig through; the current version is always the one on this page.
